Drop Bolt Lock U Bracket for Frameless Glass Doors: overview
EB-130 is a stainless-steel U bracket for fitting an electric drop bolt to a frameless glass door, where there is no rail or frame to cut a mortise into. The channel clamps onto glass 8–15 mm thick, and the bracket is specified for doors with a 180° opening range, which covers the swing glass doors common in office entrances, shops and residential lobbies.
It is the listed U bracket option for our EB-110 fail-safe drop bolt and the EB-120 drop bolt with door-status output, so a lock and bracket can be quoted together as one glass-door kit. The bracket measures 208 × 57 × 46 mm and weighs 1.3 kg; the stainless finish matches typical glass-door hardware.
Integration notes
Use EB-130 where the glass door leaf has no top or bottom rail. For glass doors that are frameless only at the bottom, the compact EB-140 bracket is the specified option. Measure the actual glass thickness on site before ordering, because the clamp range is 8–15 mm. Plan the lock cable route, through the header or a surface raceway, before the bracket goes on, and check that the bolt aligns with the strike when the door is closed.

Which glass thickness does EB-130 fit?
Glass from 8 to 15 mm thick. Measure the actual panel on site, since laminated glass can differ from its nominal thickness.
Which locks is it designed for?
It is the listed U bracket for our EB-110 and EB-120 electric drop bolts. For other locks, send us the lock body dimensions and we will check the fit.
Do I need EB-130 or EB-140?
EB-130 is intended for glass doors with no frame at the top or bottom. EB-140 is the compact option for glass doors that are frameless at the bottom only.
What door swing does it support?
It is specified for glass doors with a 180° opening range.
