How to choose power supplies & enclosures

PW-110 and PW-120 are compact linear supplies with 220 V AC input; they are not universal-mains models. PW-130 is the enclosed option with a 100–260 V AC input range, a tamper switch and optional battery backup.

Check terminal details as well as the headline current rating. The compact models publish different ratings for the regulated supply and switched lock terminals, and their NC/NO output is not the same as the regulated 12 V terminal. Match each connected device’s voltage tolerance and the intended load to the relevant output.

Add controller, reader and lock consumption, account for start-up demand and cable losses, then confirm capacity. For a power box, check the internal mounting space and battery configuration. The sizing guide provides a worksheet for this review.

Frequently asked questions

Can PW-110 or PW-120 be connected to 120 V mains?

Their listed input is 220 V AC ±20%. PW-130 lists 100–260 V AC; choose the variant for the actual mains supply.

Are all compact-supply outputs regulated to 12 V?

No. The product notes distinguish the regulated DC terminal from the NC/NO lock terminals. Review voltage and current limits for the exact terminal used.

Does the PW-130 enclosure include a tamper switch?

A tamper switch is listed as standard. Connect it to a suitable controller input if cabinet-opening events must be monitored.
