Buyer's notes

How to choose networked door controllers

NC-110 is offered for one or two doors, with entry and exit Wiegand inputs for each door. It keeps up to 30,000 cards and 100,000 event records locally and communicates with the host over Ethernet or RS485. Select the door-count variant before laying out readers and lock circuits.

The board supports functions such as anti-passback and interlock, but their configuration depends on the management software and installation. Confirm the supported platform, credential format and expected behavior when the host connection is unavailable.

This is a bare controller board rather than an enclosed door kit. Provide a suitable cabinet, power supply and cable management, with space for service access. Use the power-supply category to compare enclosure options and electrical specifications.

Frequently asked questions

How many readers can the board take?

The one-door version has two Wiegand reader inputs and the two-door version has four, allowing entry and exit reading per door.

Can the board connect over RS485 instead of Ethernet?

Both host interfaces are listed for NC-110. The host software must support the board’s communication protocol and configuration.

Is the controller supplied in a metal cabinet?

The NC-110 listing describes the bare board. Specify a compatible enclosure and supply separately, then check board mounting and wiring space.
