Access Control Power Supply Box, 12V 5A/10A, Tamper Switch: overview
PW-130 is a lockable steel power box that brings the 12 V DC supply, mains breaker and controller wiring for an access control installation into one cabinet. The built-in supply accepts 100–260 V AC at 50–65 Hz and delivers 12 V DC ±10% at 5 A or 10 A. The 10 A build can power up to eight electric drop bolts at the same time, and an optional battery provides emergency power when the mains fails.
The cabinet measures 450 × 340 × 90 mm and is formed from 1.2 mm cold-rolled steel with a high-temperature baked, matte black finish that resists wear. A tamper switch is fitted as standard; wired to a controller input, it lets the management server log every time the cover is opened. A warm-white LED switches on automatically when the lid opens and off when it closes, so technicians can see the terminals without a flashlight.
Mains enters through a 2-pole, 20 A circuit breaker, and the unit ships with a 1.5 m power cord rated 250 V 10 A. Tell us the destination country so we can confirm the plug type before dispatch.
Integration notes
Mount the box close to the doors it serves and check your controller board against the internal space before ordering. Size the output at total device current plus 25–50% headroom, choosing the 10 A build for larger multi-door runs. Battery type and charging details for the optional battery are confirmed at quotation.

PW-130 FAQ
What is the difference between PW-130-5 and PW-130-10?
Only the supply rating: 12 V DC at 5 A or at 10 A. The 10 A build can run up to eight electric drop bolts at the same time.
Does it work on 110/120 V mains?
Yes. The supply accepts 100–260 V AC at 50–65 Hz, which covers both 110–120 V and 220–240 V mains.
How does the tamper switch report?
The switch changes state when the cover is opened. Wire it to a controller input and your access control server can log the event.
Is a backup battery included?
No, the battery is optional. Ask for battery type and charging details with your quotation so we can confirm the runtime you need.
Can a door controller be mounted inside?
The box is intended to hold controller wiring alongside the supply, but check your board size and fixing holes against the 450 × 340 × 90 mm cabinet before ordering.
