Narrow 138 × 58 mm mullion reader that scans QR codes and 13.56 MHz card UIDs through an IP67 glass front, with touch keypad and Wiegand, RS485 and USB outputs.
The QC-120 is a mullion QR code reader with 13.56 MHz card reading and a touch keypad, all in a 138 × 58 mm IP67 housing. It is intended for aluminum door frames, glass-door stiles and narrow gate posts where a square reader will not fit, and it hands every read to an existing controller rather than making access decisions itself.
The electronics match the 120 × 80 mm QC-110. A 648 × 488 camera with twin fill lights reads paper and phone-screen QR codes at 5–18 cm, averaging about 100 ms per decode, and accepts codes at any rotation with up to ±45° of tilt. The RF side returns UIDs from MIFARE Classic 1K/4K, MIFARE Ultralight, MIFARE DESFire EV1 and NTAG cards, other ISO/IEC 14443A cards, ISO/IEC 15693 tags and NFC phones emulating a card. Glass panel and metal frame are sealed to IP67.
Connect D0/D1 to the controller's Wiegand input, or run RS485, which can push each read to the host without being polled. USB is available through a Mini USB port and a 1,500 mm cable. Supply 12 V DC ±5% (under 200 mA).
The lead includes buzzer and LED control wires for controller-driven feedback; the yellow wire is not connected. For a keyless mullion reader, see QC-140.

Apartment building access control hardware: anti-clone readers with matched fob sets, QR visitor codes, 4G controllers for rentals and UHF tags for gates.
Elevator card readers for car panels and lift lobbies: anti-clone encrypted cards, QR codes for visitors, Wiegand or RS485 output to the floor controller.
Turnstile card readers, QR scanners and face terminals for tripod, swing and speed gates, with Wiegand, RS485, RS232 or TTL output to the gate board.
The QC-120 needs a mounting face at least 58 mm wide and 138 mm tall, and the housing is 22.67 mm deep. If you have a wider surface, the 120 × 80 mm QC-110 offers the same scanner, card reader and keypad.
Yes. The lead includes a buzzer control wire (purple) and an LED control wire (gray), so a controller with those outputs can signal grant or deny at the door.
In active-upload mode the reader sends each card or QR read over RS485 as soon as it happens, so the host software does not need to poll it.
Yes. Both printed and on-screen QR codes are read, typically at 5–18 cm, with an average decode time of about 100 ms.
No. The QC-120 is a 13.56 MHz reader. It reads MIFARE Classic, MIFARE Ultralight, MIFARE DESFire EV1, NTAG and ISO/IEC 15693 UIDs, but not 125 kHz EM or HID Prox cards.
Compare Wiegand, OSDP and RS485 reader interfaces: wiring, cable limits, AES-128 Secure Channel and steps for a compatible access-control migration.
125 kHz cards are cheap but easy to clone; 13.56 MHz cards add memory and, on DESFire-class chips, AES security. Compare range, chips, security and migration.
Wiegand 26-bit is an even parity bit, 8-bit facility code, 16-bit card number and odd parity bit. Convert card numbers to hex and back with the calculator.
Ultra-thin IP65 metal reader that scans QR and dynamic QR codes, reads 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz credentials and BLE 5.3, and outputs Wiegand, RS485 or OSDP v2.2.
Embedded IP65 QR code and 13.56 MHz card module for turnstiles and kiosks, with 3–20 cm QR range, 9–24 V DC input and Wiegand + USB plus RS485, RS232 or TTL.
IP67 metal-frame reader that scans printed or on-screen QR codes and 13.56 MHz card UIDs, with a touch keypad and Wiegand, RS485 and USB outputs.
Keyless 120 × 80 mm IP67 reader for QR codes and 13.56 MHz card UIDs, with dual fill lights and Wiegand, RS485 and USB outputs to your existing controller.
Keyless 138 × 58 mm mullion reader that decodes QR codes and 13.56 MHz card UIDs behind an IP67 glass front, with Wiegand, RS485 and USB outputs.
86 × 86 mm QR code and 13.56 MHz card reader with 80 ms average decode, relay contacts and Wiegand, RS485 and USB outputs; a TCP/IP Ethernet version is available.
86 × 86 mm black glass-panel reader for QR codes and 13.56 MHz cards, with MIFARE sector encryption, chasing-light LEDs, IP54 and Wiegand + USB plus a serial port.
Tempered-glass QR code reader with encrypted MIFARE sector and CPU-card reading, NO/COM/NC relay contacts, and Wiegand, RS485 and USB outputs.
