Tempered-glass QR code reader with encrypted MIFARE sector and CPU-card reading, NO/COM/NC relay contacts, and Wiegand, RS485 and USB outputs.
The QC-150 is an encrypted QR code and card reader: alongside QR scanning, its 13.56 MHz reader can check encrypted card data, not just the serial number. It reads MIFARE Classic sector data and CPU-card data using keys you define, or falls back to UID reading, which helps sites move away from easily cloned UID-only credentials while still admitting visitors by QR code.
The front is a one-piece tempered-glass cover that resists scratching, on an 87 × 87 × 45 mm body. A 648 × 488 camera with two fill lights reads printed and on-screen QR codes at 5–18 cm in around 100 ms on average, tolerating any rotation and ±45° of tilt. Beyond MIFARE Classic and CPU cards, it reads UIDs of MIFARE Ultralight, MIFARE DESFire EV1 and NTAG cards, other ISO/IEC 14443A cards, ISO/IEC 15693 tags and NFC phones in card-emulation mode.
All connections land on a 10-position terminal block: 12 V DC and GND, RS485 A/B, Wiegand WG0/WG1, a relay with NO, COM and NC contacts, and a configuration port. USB is available through a Mini USB cable. Supply 12 V DC ±5%; current stays under 200 mA.
Relay ratings and trigger logic are not published, so confirm them with us before switching a lock directly from the reader. No ingress rating is stated, so mount it indoors or under cover.

Apartment building access control hardware: anti-clone readers with matched fob sets, QR visitor codes, 4G controllers for rentals and UHF tags for gates.
A UID-only reader accepts any card that reports the right serial number, and UIDs are easy to copy. In encrypted mode the QC-150 authenticates to a MIFARE Classic sector or CPU card with keys you set, so a card that only copies the UID will not produce a valid read.
The terminal block provides NO, COM and NC relay contacts, but contact ratings and trigger conditions are not published for this model. Tell us your lock type and we will confirm before you rely on the relay instead of a controller.
Wiegand (WG0/WG1) and RS485 (485A/485B) are on the screw terminal, and USB is available through a Mini USB cable. A separate Config terminal is used for setup.
No ingress rating is stated, so install it indoors or in a sheltered position. For exposed entrances, the IP67 metal-frame QC-110 or QC-130 is a better fit.
Compare Wiegand, OSDP and RS485 reader interfaces: wiring, cable limits, AES-128 Secure Channel and steps for a compatible access-control migration.
125 kHz cards are cheap but easy to clone; 13.56 MHz cards add memory and, on DESFire-class chips, AES security. Compare range, chips, security and migration.
Wiegand 26-bit is an even parity bit, 8-bit facility code, 16-bit card number and odd parity bit. Convert card numbers to hex and back with the calculator.
