Ultra-thin IP65 metal reader that scans QR and dynamic QR codes, reads 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz credentials and BLE 5.3, and outputs Wiegand, RS485 or OSDP v2.2.
The QC-170 is an OSDP QR code reader that also handles 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz cards and Bluetooth, for projects that want every credential on one device and OSDP on the wire. It reads 1D barcodes, QR codes and dynamic QR codes, card credentials and BLE 5.3, then reports to the panel over Wiegand, RS485 or OSDP v2.2. The metal housing is only 12 mm deep on an 86 × 86 mm footprint, carries an IP65 rating, and has a silver frame with a black glass panel and no logo.
Card support is broad: MIFARE Classic, MIFARE DESFire EV1/EV2/EV3, MIFARE Ultralight and Ultralight C, NTAG, ICODE, FeliCa, CPU cards and NFC Forum Type 1–5 tags across ISO/IEC 14443A/B, ISO/IEC 15693 and ISO/IEC 18092, plus EM4100, EM4102, EM4200, EM4305 and EM4450 transponders at 125 kHz. Card distance is 0–3 cm. The 640 × 480 camera scans codes at 3–14 cm, resolves elements down to 5 mil and works with a reflectance difference as low as 25%. Tamper protection and anti-copy support are built in.
Power the reader from 7–24 V DC; at 12 V it draws ≤ 200 mA on standby and ≤ 260 mA when active. Connections run through a 250 mm pigtail. A PC management tool handles firmware upgrades and parameter changes.
OSDP v2.2 is supported; if your panel requires Secure Channel, confirm it with us at quote stage. Two fronts are offered: a plain panel (QC-170-D) and a touch-keypad panel (QC-170-D-K).
