Compact RFID Keypad Access Controller, 2,000 Users: overview
The SK-180 is a compact keypad access controller that stores 2,000 users and runs fully offline. Keypad, card reader and lock control sit in one 103.5 × 86 × 20 mm housing and make access decisions without a network or PC. Housings come in black or white and carry no logo, which suits distributors and OEMs who apply their own labeling.
Two reader versions are listed. The 13.56 MHz SK-180-M reads MIFARE Classic, MIFARE DESFire EV1/EV2, MIFARE Ultralight and Ultralight C cards, ISO/IEC 14443 A/B CPU cards and NFC Forum Type 1, 2 and 4 tags at up to 4 cm. The 125 kHz SK-180-E reads EM4100, EM4102, EM4200, EM4305 and EM4450 credentials at up to 5 cm.
The controller runs from 12 V DC and draws up to 150 mA when active and up to 100 mA on standby. It operates from –20 to +60 °C (–4 to +140 °F) in 20–80% non-condensing humidity, and can be stored from –40 to +80 °C. A bare unit weighs about 94.6 g (13.56 MHz) or 99.6 g (125 kHz), and the leads exit on a 150 mm pigtail.
Integration notes

Which credentials does the SK-180 read?
The 13.56 MHz version reads MIFARE Classic, DESFire EV1/EV2, Ultralight and Ultralight C cards, ISO/IEC 14443 A/B CPU cards and NFC Forum Type 1, 2 and 4 tags. The 125 kHz version reads EM4100, EM4102, EM4200, EM4305 and EM4450.
Does it need a network or software to run?
No. It stores up to 2,000 users internally and makes access decisions offline.
Can I put my own brand on it?
The black and white housings ship without a logo, so distributors can apply their own labels. Contact us for custom printing or packaging on volume orders.
What power does it need?
12 V DC, with up to 150 mA while working and up to 100 mA on standby, plus the current of the lock you connect.
