PP archive lock tag with a 44 × 32 × 3 mm tag body and 83.31 mm overall length that clasps onto folders, boxes and document bags; reads at 1.5 m fixed, 0.5 m handheld.
The ST-150 is a UHF RFID lock tag for records management. It clasps onto archive boxes, file folders, binders and document bags through a punched hole, strap or handle, giving each file a readable ID without sticking a label onto the documents themselves.
The part is molded in PP. The tag body measures 44 × 32 × 3 mm, and the whole piece, clasp included, is 83.31 mm long. The product photo shows a plastic shackle that hooks through the file and snaps into a socket on the tag body. Inside is an Impinj Monza 4QT chip covering 860–960 MHz.
Rated read distance is 1.5 m with a 4 W fixed reader and 0.5 m with a handheld. That suits shelf audits with a handheld, reading files on a counter during check-out and return, and reader-equipped cabinets or desks. For portal control at a records-room door, test with files carried the way staff actually hold them.
Link each tag ID to the file reference in your records or document-management system when the tag is fitted. Fit the tag on the outside edge or spine of the box or folder, where a handheld can reach it without pulling the file from the shelf.

The datasheet lists 1.5 m with a 4 W fixed reader and 0.5 m with a handheld. That covers shelf audits and counter reading; test before relying on a doorway portal.
It clasps through a hole, strap or handle on the box, folder or bag. Per the product photo, a plastic shackle hooks through and snaps into the tag body, so no adhesive touches the file.
Yes, if they are EPC Gen2 readers operating within 860–960 MHz. That range covers both the 902–928 MHz and 865–868 MHz bands.
The EPC memory can be written with your own file or box numbering using a UHF reader/writer. Ask us if you want tags encoded before dispatch.
