Eight-antenna UHF reader engine on the Impinj R2000 for multi-shelf cabinets and tunnel readers: 0–33 dBm, 700+ tags/s, 1,000-tag buffer, TTL UART.
The GM-110 is an 8-port UHF RFID reader module for OEM builds that must watch many read zones from one board: multi-shelf smart cabinets, conveyor tunnels, tool cribs and dock-door frames with antennas on both posts and overhead. Eight antenna ports on a single Impinj R2000 board mean fewer reader boards to buy, wire and power per installation, and your host controls everything over a TTL UART.
RF performance is that of a full 33 dBm reader: output adjustable from 0 to 33 dBm, receiver sensitivity below −85 dBm, more than 700 tags per second at peak and room for 1,000 tags (96-bit EPC) in the on-board buffer, so a burst of reads from a busy tunnel can wait until the host collects it. Where neighboring readers share the space, switch to dense-reader mode. RSSI per tag, antenna-connection protection and ambient temperature monitoring are built in, and the full ISO 18000-6B command set is implemented next to EPC Gen2 / ISO 18000-6C.
GM-110-8P-US is the FCC version for 902–928 MHz markets; GM-110-8P-EU is the ETSI EN 302 208 version for 865–868 MHz markets. The transceiver itself spans 860–960 MHz.
At 69.5 × 91 × 7.8 mm this is the largest board in the series, so leave room for the external heatsink it needs for air cooling. Budget 1.2 A (±10%) from a 3.7–5 V DC supply. The 15-pin header keeps the signal assignment of the 1-port and 4-port modules: TTL UART at 115200 bps (38400 bps optional), two 3.3 V inputs, two 3.3 V outputs, a buzzer driver, an active-high enable and an RS485 direction-control line. An SDK is available.

Plan RFID for warehouse management: fixed readers and circular antennas at dock doors, conveyor tunnels, handheld cycle counts and on-metal asset tags.
Build an RFID asset tracking system: on-metal, ceramic and tie-on tags matched to each asset, handheld audits, smart cabinets and IP67 HF heads for tooling.
RFID linen tracking hardware: washable UHF laundry tags, fixed tunnel readers, antennas and handhelds for hotels, hospitals and laundries. Samples available.
Choose it when one board must serve more than four antennas. RF and electrical specifications are the same (0–33 dBm, 1.2 A at 3.7–5 V DC); the GM-110 board is larger at 69.5 × 91 × 7.8 mm versus 67.5 × 51 × 8.2 mm.
Plan for 3.7–5 V DC at 1.2 A (±10%) and mount the board on an external heatsink, which it relies on for air cooling.
The on-board buffer stores up to 1,000 tags with 96-bit EPCs, and peak inventory speed is above 700 tags per second.
It handles EPC Gen2 (ISO 18000-6C) tags and implements the full ISO 18000-6B read/write command set. The radio covers 860–960 MHz, sold as US (FCC) and EU (ETSI) versions.
