Ø25 × 2.65 mm PPS button laundry tag with an Alien Higgs-9 chip, rated 860–960 MHz for US and EU readers; 0.9–1.2 m fixed-reader range.
The LT-130 is a Ø25 mm UHF RFID laundry tag molded in PPS, a rigid high-temperature engineering plastic, for textiles that are washed, dried and handled again and again. Its flat button form suits uniforms, workwear, robes and table linen, where every piece needs its own ID through the laundry loop.
Inside is an Alien Higgs-9 chip on an antenna rated for 860–960 MHz, so the same tag works with FCC 902–928 MHz and ETSI 865–868 MHz systems. This is the only tag in our laundry range with that global band, which makes it the default choice for groups running sites in both regions.
A 25 mm button leaves little room for antenna, and the listed figures reflect that: 0.9–1.2 m with a 4 W fixed reader and 0.2–0.3 m with an Impinj R2000-based handheld. Plan on sort tables, cabinets and close-range check-in points rather than long portal reads. The tag is described as heat-resistant and resistant to repeated rubbing, but no wash-cycle count, temperature limit or pressure rating is published for this PPS version.
Encode the EPC with an EPC Gen2 reader-writer at tagging and link it to the item record in your laundry software. Wash-test samples on your own program, including extraction pressure and ironing or tunnel-finisher temperatures, before tagging a full fleet.

Read ranges as listed for each tag: fixed reader at 4 W and an Impinj R2000-based handheld. Encapsulation, wet linen and dense loads reduce range.

RFID linen tracking hardware: washable UHF laundry tags, fixed tunnel readers, antennas and handhelds for hotels, hospitals and laundries. Samples available.
It is specified as heat-resistant and able to take repeated rubbing, but no wash-cycle, temperature or pressure rating is published for this PPS version. Wash-test samples on your process; the fabric LT-150 carries a stated rating of 200+ washes and 60 bar.
Yes. The antenna is rated for 860–960 MHz, which covers FCC 902–928 MHz and ETSI 865–868 MHz readers.
The antenna has to fit inside a 25 mm button: listed range is 0.9–1.2 m on a 4 W fixed reader and 0.2–0.3 m on a handheld. For longer portal reads on 902–928 MHz, compare the LT-150 (7.5 m) or LT-140 (4 m).
It is a button-format tag, normally sewn on like a garment button or closed inside a hem. Check the fit on samples before tagging a whole fleet.
Compare UHF RFID reader bands by country, including US, EU, UK, China, India and Japan. Understand ERP, EIRP, channel conditions and radio approvals.
Wire a UHF reader's D0, D1 and ground to your controller, match 26/34-bit Wiegand, size 12 V power and trigger the barrier by relay. Diagrams included.
Yes, RFID works on metal with tags built for it. See why metal detunes standard tags, compare ABS, PCB, ceramic and label tags, and test read range properly.
