30 × 16 mm embedded module pairing Bluetooth LE 5.1 with 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz card reading, for terminals that must accept cards, tags and phones.
The HF-190 combines two RFID front ends and a Bluetooth LE 5.1 radio on a 30 × 16 mm board. It is aimed at OEMs building access readers, lockers, kiosks and other terminals that must accept legacy proximity fobs, 13.56 MHz smart cards and smartphones through one component.
On the 13.56 MHz side it supports ISO/IEC 14443A/B, ISO/IEC 15693, ISO/IEC 18092 and FeliCa, covering MIFARE Classic, DESFire EV1/EV2, Ultralight and Ultralight C, ICODE, CEPAS, CPU cards and NFC Forum Type 1–5 tags. At 125 kHz the standard build reads EM4100, EM4102, EM4200, EM4305 and EM4450; the -P build also reads HID Prox-compatible credentials. The Bluetooth radio handles transparent data pass-through and BLE virtual cards, and the module supports NFC mobile credentials where your platform issues them.
Both antennas are external: a 50 Ω antenna for 13.56 MHz and a 490 µH ±10 µH coil for 125 kHz, so you can size and place each one for your housing. The board is conformally coated, rated –40 to +85 °C, and weighs about 2 g.
Host links are a UART at 3.3 V logic (115200 bit/s, 5 V DC supply) and USB (12 Mbps, 4.3–5.5 V); BLE throughput is up to 300 bytes/s. Current reaches up to 350 mA while working, with up to 120 mA on standby. Listed hosts are Windows 10/8.1/8/7, Linux, Android and macOS. A management tool updates firmware, including over the serial port, and changes configuration parameters. CE, FCC, RoHS and Japan Radio Law approvals are listed; request the documents for your market.

EV charger RFID cards, key fobs and 13.56 MHz reader modules for charger OEMs and operators: UID formats, OCPP idTag mapping and UART integration notes.
Only the 125 kHz side. The standard build reads EM4100, EM4102, EM4200, EM4305 and EM4450 credentials; the -P build also reads HID Prox-compatible cards. 13.56 MHz and Bluetooth features are the same.
The module has BLE 5.1 with virtual-card support and ISO/IEC 18092 NFC, so it supports mobile credentials where your platform issues them. Confirm the credential format your platform uses before design-in.
The module needs two external antennas: 50 Ω for 13.56 MHz and a 490 µH ±10 µH coil for 125 kHz. Share your enclosure details and we can propose suitable antennas.
CE, FCC, RoHS and Japan Radio Law are listed for the module. Request the certificates or grant details for your target market before relying on them for end-product approval.
A management tool updates firmware and configuration parameters, and firmware can also be upgraded over the serial port.
